To say that we’re proud to offer this gelding is an understatement! Stetson is the kind that people dream about owning, and we are going to be incredibly sad to see him go.

He is well built with a pretty head, big hip, and good feet. Size 2 foot and a solid 1350 lbs.

He’s a true “been there, done that” type – safe for anyone, soft in the bridle, and trusted 100% in all situations. Mr dependable, kick him out for months and he rides off the same as you left him every time.

Stetson has been ridden all over both western Canada and southern USA; he’s seen it all, from desert to snow, traffic, machinery, bikers, dogs, etc. Stetson is sure-footed and confident in all terrain: rocks, ice, logs… Just point and he will go. Send your kids out for hours and know that they are safe. Alone or in a group, he looks after his rider always.

Stetson is just as fun in the arena. Western, English, bridleless, bareback, you name it, he does it. He has smooth gaits and adjusts to his rider’s ability, making him an easy horse to ride. Ready to step things up? Stetson has all the buttons and the handle of a much smaller horse. Take him to the weekend show, hit the sorting pen, go jump… He’ll make you look good no matter the job.

Stetson is not just a pretty face; he boasts a solid resume, having been ranched on extensively – everything from gathering to doctoring to roping big Brahma bulls. He’s proven himself to be steady amongst all kinds of chaos. Stetson is also a solid head horse – quiet in the box, scores like a rock – he can get out and run when needed and will get you to the same spot every time. He would suit any age or any level, whether you’re just learning to rope, need practice, or want to win some money. He's been a lot of fun to rope with and he's packed everyone from beginner me to competitive adults to senior ropers.
